Restorative Yoga with Erin VandenBergh

Join Erin in this supported and conscious body/mind relaxation practice that relieves fatigue and stress, promotes well-being, and brings balance to your life. When supported with props, the body relaxes and opens, releasing tension and stored up toxins that can cause illness. Allow this class to assist you in exploring a joyful state of awakening to the beauty and light that reside inside your heart.

Erin has been practicing Yoga for seven years and teaches in San Diego, California. Raised in Chicago, she was a swimmer, volleyball player and mountain bike racer. Two years into her rehabilitation following back surgery she found Yoga. Years of daily practice has left her pain-free and able to spread the gift of Yoga.

Meditative Candlelight Slow Flow with Erin VandenBergh

Join Erin as she guides you through a moving meditation cultivating a deeper awareness of self while exploring the tissues beneath the musculature.  Rely on the gift of breath to open the body, free congested energy, lubricate joints, lengthen muscles and improve joint flexibility.  Embrace and celebrate your body; watch yourself open to grace and the beauty of your heart through movement, stillness and pure presence.  Share your light and energy during this slow flow.  We practice in a group to harness the group energy to inspire us, to lift us up, not to compete or compare.  Through community we can create a greater possibility for awakening.

Back Saver Yoga with Erin VandenBergh

Tightness and tension in the hips, glutes, hamstrings and feet conspire to cause a host of back issues. Learn how to create openings in these places and release knots hidden there to increase flexibility and strengthen weak areas in the body. Let Erin guide you in a Yoga practice that will help restore your back’s health. She herself has used the Yoga practice to heal after a debilitating back surgery in 2004. “We only have this one spine, which I consider our internal universe,” she said. “Over time yoga can effectively counteract the tightness and weakness that cause many types of back pain.”
